Community Garden

Community Garden

Do you like gardening? Would you like to:

  • Learn more about gardening, or gain valuable work experience?
  • Learn to care for plants?
  • Grow your own vegetables but don’t have the space?

St George & Sutherland’s award winning community garden will help members develop skills in organic garden management in an environmentally and socially responsible manner. It is wheelchair accessible and has a retractable shade cloth to protect members from uv rays.

You don’t need any special skills, just an interest in working with others. We see this as an opportunity for people from your local community to get together and a chance to learn and share skills. If you are interested in being involved in the garden or would like to know more about it:
